The Challenge

Project Democracy 2020

Our Democracy is at risk. It is urgent to engage young Americans in elections.

In order to sustain our democracy and preserve our fundamental values, young Americans must feel they have a voice and are empowered to effect change through voting and civic action.

Democracy 2020 Youth Film Challenge, in partnership with JusticeAid, is a national film competition for students to generate civics-oriented videos that ultimately create a groundbreaking movement for young Americans to get engaged in our Democracy and to vote – to bring young people together as a community and provide a digital platform for them to be heard.
